Founder

Elizabeth Zendejas Alvarez

Hello, I'm Elizabeth, founder and owner of Tiny Seeds Montessori. I was introduced to the Montessori method of education in 2003, and after seeing how it benefitted my own children, I developed a passion for childcare that was rooted in Montessori principles and a holistic approach.

I knew that this form of education was the perfect fit for my own childcare center. After receiving my training in 2019, I saw an opportunity to provide individualized learning to children on a one-on-one basis and thus, Tiny Seeds Montessori was born.

Our Mission and Vision

Our in-home daycare and preschool is dedicated to serving the community by helping children discover their unique talents and abilities. We believe in providing an environment that encourages exploration, discovery, and a deep connection to the natural world. With an emphasis on hands-on learning, we strive to help our students become curious, compassionate, and confident individuals.

What is Montessori?

Montessori is a philosophy of education created by Dr. Maria Montessori.  It emphasizes independence, freedom of choice, uninterrupted work periods, hands-on materials and respect for a child's natural development.

Montessori materials offer children hands on hands-on opportunities, allowing them to explore and discover at their own pace.

There are five main areas in the classroom:

Practical life, Sensorial, Language, Math and Cultural.
